Create the Right Mindset

Create the Right Mindset

How do you know you have the right mindset? I believe that success and happiness are all about the quality of our daily mindset. The right mindset makes the right decisions, takes the right action, and achieves the right results!

The wrong mindset on the other hand, is constantly focusing on the wrong things, taking the wrong action and achieving the wrong results. Do you always find yourself fixating on your worries and disappointments, but never thinking about the things that are actually going your way? This is a sure sign that your mindset is contaminated with negativity.

Reversing your # 1 Success Blocker

In order to create the right mindset, you must first decide that you need change. You must decide that you are ready and willing to alter your conditioning and change your habitual way of thinking and behaving. You will need at least 30 days to create a new habit by feeding your mind with great quality information relevant to the new mindset you want to create. This new information needs to hardwire into your nervous system in order develop new beliefs and new habits that lead to taking new action. When creating a new mindset or habit, you must have a strong purpose and passion to keep you motivated for a long period of time. Otherwise, you will find yourself quitting too soon and not achieving your desired result.

Personal Clarity

Your first step is to begin seeking personal clarity daily.
A simple approach to seeking personal clarity is to focus on four things:

  1. Self: What attitude do you want to develop to succeed in your business?
  2. Skills: What skills do you want to develop and demonstrate in your business?
  3. Social: How do you want to behave socially in your business?
  4. Service: What exact service and or product do you want to provide?

By asking yourself and answering these questions with action, it will give you an edge in your life and business. This produces guaranteed results when you make it a habitual behavior.

An individual’s attitude or mental state is his or her mindset. For example, if you have an environmentalist mindset, you probably bring your own bags to the grocery store. Despite the fact that it will save you money. The noun mindset was first used in the 1930’s to mean: habits of mind formed by previous experience.

10 habits to develop a success-oriented mindset:

  1. Put yourself in challenging new situations daily – push yourself a little harder.
  2. Be opened to finding a mentor or a coach, preferably someone who is in the same field as you.
  3. Think of failure as a learning opportunity.
  4. Keep a written record of your best accomplishments .
  5. Only surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed.
  6. Minimize or avoid stressors and time wasters – time is your most valuable commodity.
  7. Set time-bound and achievable personal goals – don’t let yourself down.
  8. Listen to your gut instincts – focus on the solutions and not the problem.
  9. Become accountable for every 30 minutes of your day – written.
  10. Become addicted to personal development.

The Power of Mindset

The Power of possessing the right mindset plays a serious role in how you deal with life. It can contribute to greater achievement and increased determination. Having the right mindset or growth mindset will always present you with greater resilience in life and business.
